We are extremely pleased to announce the third and final call for applications. This is the very last chance to get a scholarship and experience studying in the EU with a KITE scholarship. We encourage you to take this opportunity and spend one or two semesters at one of the EU KITE partner universities. It is simple – pick a school, pick your courses and apply online!
To make it even easier this time, we are giving you the option of choosing when to start. If you wish to go on your mobility in spring 2016, make sure you submit your application by October 31, 2015. If you prefer to start in autumn 2016, the deadline is December 31, 2015. However, if you apply for spring 2016 and are not selected, your application will still be considered for autumn 2016. Your chances are basically doubled by going for the first deadline!
KITE is a mobility scheme for academic cooperation between higher education institutions from the African, Caribbean and Pacific regions (ACP). KITE provides scholarships for students (or prospective students) and staff (both academic and administrative) from the ACP region to carry out their study or research in selected high-quality partner institutions in the EU.
Aiming to support the establishment of cooperation partnerships between European higher education institutions and higher education institutions in the ACP, the project is also open to staff from the EU to realize their mobility to ACP partner institutions. Funded by the European Commission, KITE covers travel expenses, insurance, fees and a monthly allowance for selected grant holders. Virtually anyone involved (or previously involved) in higher education will be given the opportunity to participate!
It’s very easy! First, download our guidelines, find out whether you are eligible (e.g., whether you belong to one of the target groups) and whether your desired field of study is offered in any of the host institutions. Then - fill out our application!
